What sort of lease agreements do you offer?
We lease our storage units on a month-to-month basis, so you can upsize, downsize, or make a move when you need to. We ask that you give us at least 5 days notice before you plan to vacate the unit, and that the space is emptied on or before the last day of the lease agreement. Otherwise, you may be responsible for an additional month’s rent.
How do I make a reservation? Is it necessary?
We recommend that you make a reservation, to ensure that you get your choice of storage spaces. Reserve a unit online, call, or visit the office in person. A friendly manager will be happy to reserve a space for you.
How can I be sure I am renting the right unit for my storage needs?
Our storage estimator can be a big help in determining how much space you need to store your stuff. Of course, there is nothing like a real conversation with an expert to be certain that you are making the most of your choice. Our staff can advise on square footage, as well as how to pack your space efficiently.
Do you sell packing supplies on site?
Our office stocks a full inventory of moving and packing supplies, from boxes to labels to tape. We carry locks, as well.
Where can I rent a moving truck?
You can reserve a quality U-Haul rental truck or van right in our leasing office. And feel free to make use of our on-site dollies and carts on move-in day.
How do I pay my bill?
You may manage your account through automatic payments, whereby your credit card will be billed monthly. You may take advantage of our online bill pay. You can mail a check directly to our leasing office at 140 Woodbine St., Bergenfield, NJ, 07621. Or simply stop by the office with cash, check, or a major credit card.
What else do I need to rent a storage unit?
You will need to present a valid, government-issued photo ID at time of rental. In addition, all storage unit renters are required to insure their stored goods. Many renter and homeowner policies cover storage. Just bring in your policy’s declaration page when you sign the lease. Otherwise, we offer affordable tenant insurance through a reputable provider.
Do you hold auctions?
When accounts go unpaid and we need to empty units to make space for new clients, we do hold storage auctions, following New Jersey State law. Contact our office for news and information regarding upcoming events at our Bergenfield location.
